NSDC is an initiative taken up in the year 2008 under the Central Government holding major share under the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship.

Under the private public partnership, NSDC has approved SMEC to provide skill development programs to promote technical skills for young aspiring graduates to achieve their dream jobs.
